We recently interviewed Lars Madsen, Forensic Psychologist and Accredited Schema Therapist on his work with violent offenders and psychopathic patients.

"Nice jeans and a brown shirt," was what Lars wore to the sex offender treatment unit at his first day's work in a Brisbane prison.

We share a laugh as he tells us how closely it matched the inmates uniform - and debrief on his application of Schema Therapy.

Particularly on how he maintains repoire, builds trust and compassion, and the unlikely path that led him to working with clients who are classified as "dangerous and severe personalisty disorders with criminal problems".
